Cytogenetic Studies Using Image Analysis System

@EN The objective of the present study is to analyse the chromosomal karyotype(G banding) in order to apply for improvement fo fish breed using genetic engineering.
Cell activity of kidney and fin with 100 rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) were examined.
@ES The results of the experiments as follows:
@EN In the short term culture(3 days, 20¡É), kidney cell had a good activity with 80% TC-199 and 20% FCS. In the short term culture(3 days, 20¡É), fin cell had a good activity in TC-199. In the long term culture(5 days, 20¡É).
Karyotype of the G-banding was analyzed using automatic image recognition system. In the G banding, diploid chromosome number of rainbow trout was 60 in one group and the karyotype consisted of 22 pairs of meta-, submetacentric, 8 pairs of acro-,
telocentrics.
